we had a fantastic stay at inn at the old jail! the decor was fascinating and the homey vibe made us feel welcome. we loved the common kitchen and mingling with other travelers. it’s a bit far from the french quarter, which we appreciated, but everything is just a short Uber ride away. todd was an excellent host, and the rooftop deck was the cherry on top.

My stay at the Inn At The Old Jail was exceptional. The room was spacious and rich in historical character, reflecting the unique charm of New Orleans. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop terrace, which provided a peaceful retreat after my busy workdays. Todd, the on-site manager, was incredibly helpful, offering valuable local recommendations that enhanced my experience. The communal kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to grab snacks and coffee at any time.
The lack of blackout curtains was a minor issue for me.
